Our plants arrived last week and can currently be found in the greenhouse room located in the U-building. I had a chance to pay them a couple visits this past week to ensure they are still healthy (wouldn’t want them to die again, yikes). I was also able to create a schematic tailored to our model, now we can begin the building! The first and last tanks will not contain any plants. Instead, the first tank will act as a settling tank and the last tank will act as a final polisher where sea shells can be found. Each tank will contain a different plant, or set of plants, will will assist in the water purification process. Currently in our model building process, we still have to obtain the sea shells and the pipe that will be containing the tanks. Prof. Wood will be helping me this Thursday finalize (and hopefully build) the design.
